Nirar Dams

Located 14 Kilometers from Valparai. This dam is built for multipurpose project such as irrigation, Hydro electricity production. There is a waterfalls near by the dam which resembles the Cascade.

Sholayar Dam
Located 24 kilometers from Valparai. 2nd highest dam in South India. One of the active tourist spot and always busy.

Nallamudi poonjolai

Very famous and a beautiful view point. Near by Sangiliroad.

Kadamparai dam & Power House

Prior permission must be obtained from the concern higher official at Chennai for the entry. Very beautiful place to visit.

Athirapplai Falls

Located 82 kilometers from Valparai. It is a place of great scenic beauty. This picturesque spot is adjacent to dense green forest, and is a part of Chalakudi River, 50 Kms. from Valparai towards Chalakudi, Kerala.
