Kerala Tours

A Travelogue : The delicate and exotic south of Kerala in India. During my recent trip I discovered this extension reassuring the spectacular beauty and enjoyed a feast of beautiful colors, interesting wildlife, and mix cultures. Kerala is a long strip, close along the coast of southwest, irregular teeth removed by the Western Ghats. The largest of the city Cochin, Kerala, is built in a number of consoles at the edge of the Arabian Sea. The ferries linked with the consoles and the presence of both water and the need for so many boat trips to give the city an air slightly frivolous, as Cochin is held in perpetual holiday with nothing better to do than to mess about in boats. Strong Cochin is the oldest part of town with a maze of narrow streets and canals and pastel-colored houses. Here we could also collect the scent of the spice bazaar, filling the air with the fragrance of ginger, the pepper, the cloves and cinnamon.

One of the great adventures of the course is the trip of the boat or catamaran trip along the mount of Kerala. The network of waterways begins at Cochin - other one thousand square kilometers of canals, lakes and rivers. Our stay in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of state, proved to be a rejuvenating experience with visits to the Padmanabha Swamy temple, Napier Museum and Art Gallery, Zoological park's beaches of Kovalam and Varkala. The office of the finest summer of Kovalam India is cleared by the Zero Waste Project in Kovalam that propagates the conservation-free product of agriculture and water to keep the place pure. There are all sorts of fun of the holiday here - beaches, bright sunshine, water skiing, snorkelling and surfing - not to forget the world famous for Ayurvedic massage with aromatic oils. For some one hundred rupees, you can spend the whole day on board a ferry that travels through the narrow channels lined with fields of Alappuzha pillow, palm trees and gliding through the large lakes, where the cranes that wanders into consoles of fluctuation of the burst Water Hyacinth in flight as the boat passes. We stayed in a houseboat known as the kettuvallom equipped all with modern facilities. We visit the yard for building the boat in the town of 100 where the boats Champakulam original long snake of ft are built. The annual boat races of the serpent, in August or in September, which is a big draw for long, low canoes with as much as 100 oarsmen because that shake up through the water that falls to the glass of Nehru. We also walked on tip toes along the bridge of the trunk of the coconut on a channel. Our trip in April coincided with the festival of Poor when all the elephants of the temple mount in Thrissur. Decorated elephants are arranged in two rows, a sequence of colored umbrellas is raised above their heads and line with the best exhibition wins. Rising above the hills is the sanctuary of wild animals in Periyar has a large population of elephants and the antelope, the Wild Boar, the bison and even tigers.

Wayanad is a hill station and the highlights here are Chembra most, of Edakkal caves, the rock waterfall and dam of the sentinel Banasura Sagar. The hills of Vythiri thrive in Pookot and lakes Karala when the sanctuary of wild animals Begur offer a peak in a variety of wild animals.
